What our client wanted

Our client, the internationally renowned Cromwell Hospital, needed a partner who could help them resolve a number of issues with both their communications and the look and feel of their building. They regularly suffered from supply chain issues with their 170-item stock catalogue, which included shortages, a lack of back orders, overordering and failed deliveries. They also wanted to increase their footfall and revenues in a cost-efficient way, while improving the environment space for their Paediatric department. We took each challenge and tasked out expert teams to generate solutions that delivered an exceptional service and sustainable results.

What we gave them

We set up an online stock management service for all stock ordering, providing easy online ordering at ward level. This included automated stock replenishment and real-time stock reporting. Paragon’s Data Analytics team also worked to identify key target areas in London for a targeted acquisition campaign, aimed at high net worth individuals. We conducted a detailed survey of the hospital’s public areas including reception, waiting room and consulting rooms. After this initial phase, we worked closely with Cromwell stakeholders and agreed on a creative brief that would refresh the environment.

What was the impact

The stock solution we delivered for our client generated a significant cost saving of 26% and reduced supply chain waste. We have ensured the dependable availability of important stationery and print items. The acquisition door drop campaign used content which highlighted the benefits of the Hospital in their area, and the campaign delivered on its goal. We helped our client to increase their self-pay foot fall, a key target of the campaign. Working closely with Cromwell stakeholders, we also provided a full installation service for the refreshed environment, which has resulted in very positive feedback from patients and improved their overall experience of the hospital.
