What our client wanted

Our client’s print-related activities were previously handled by their parent group, rather than locally. As a result, they lacked visibility on their print spend and they couldn’t consolidate print jobs across brands and local affiliates. Brand consistency was often an issue. They wanted to streamline the print process through a dedicated resource with a wider network of printers and expertise that would add value and drive through savings. They appointed Paragon to provide print management and creative solutions across the company’s entire product portfolio in Ireland. They then decided to expand the solution to continental Europe.

 

What we gave them

We proposed a managed solution that included both dedicated account managers and robust IT solutions. The bespoke solution, which manages both the quality of our client’s print and creative assets as well as their costs, was implemented following a thorough analysis of internal processes and a pilot production run. A team of dedicated account managers based in Poland and Ireland, supported by local account teams, manage the Continental European and Irish accounts, developing relationships and delivering individual print projects while reducing costs. The team is also supported by specialist sourcing experts who have developed a dedicated supplier network for the client’s work and execute special sourcing strategy for particular jobs.

 

What was the impact

Intelligent print buying and innovative technology has allowed the client to make significant savings across its print spend, while also maintaining quality standards and speed to market. By using a single provider, the client has been able to standardise its print tools across countries in terms of specifications, quality and colour adjustments. Moreover, the client is now able to have a comprehensive view of its print spend across brands and countries.
