What our client wanted

Paragon have provided our client with managed print services since 2007, maintaining a strong relationship with multiple regional offices and delivering a range of physical customer communications. The challenge was not only to provide a set of bespoke printed materials for the themed annual charity gala, but also to come up with creative solutions to engage the audience from pre-event to the event day and support the theme.

What we gave them

We proposed an interactive element to add value to their print collateral and enhance the event’s profile. Using the Linkz mobile application, attendees were invited to download the app on their phone and interact with their event tickets and programmes on the night. We produced a microsite providing directions, charity videos, food menus, auctions details, and the evening schedule that was available for use before, during and after the event to encourage sustained interactivity.

What was the impact

On the day of the event, the interactive print app achieved a 30% engagement rate among event attendees, as well as a doubling of the scan rate and selfie uploads from the new users. The successful application of Interactive Print services resulted in a happy customer, and there was additional value added to the event collateral which could not be achieved via standard ‘2D’ print. The event and its associated print requirements gave us an excellent opportunity to showcase our expertise in both physical and digital communications.
