Going for gold with An Post and the Irish Olympic team
For over 12 years PCC Ireland have worked closely with An Post, the national provider of postal services across the country, delivering a range of services including print management, storage and distribution.
An Post wanted to honour Ireland’s Olympic gold medal heroes on their return from Tokyo and enquired if PCC Ireland could help to transform local post boxes, turning them gold to celebrate Ireland’s success in the 2020 Olympics. The gold post boxes would include the name of Irish medal winners and be placed in the towns from where the Olympic gold medallists originated.
With an incredibly short turnaround time, we got to work straight away, utilising our extensive supply chain network and sourcing a brilliant gold vinyl that matched our client’s brief.
Paragon Ireland got out of the blocks quickly and transformed the post boxes in just two days, having them ready for the medallists’ return. The post boxes and the athletes both received a warm welcome from An Post and the public, with featured stories on local and national news broadcasts.
